We are thrilled to invite you to an unforgettable Afternoon Tea with “Head of Magic” at The House at Ramsgate!
Enjoy an unforgettable experience with mesmerising close-up magic and mind reading from one of Britain’s top professional magicians, paired with a delightful Afternoon Tea.
Ian ‘Savvy’ Saville is one of the UK’s most established magicians and mind readers, a true pioneer of the London magic scene since 1996. Often described as a humble, likeable chap with a safe set of magic hands, Sav has a rare ability to seamlessly blend into any event – creating astonishing impact and unforgettable moments that people will talk about for years!
Sav’s journey began in 1984, when he discovered magic at age 8. He began performing professionally after receiving a startup grant from The Kings Trust in 1996. Since then, he has travelled the world pursuing his craft.
This time, we’re excited to warmly welcome him to The House at Ramsgate so that all our locals and guests can share in this unforgettable experience!

Local Artist Exhibitions
all year round
The House at Ramsgate proudly celebrates the creativity and talent of our local artistic community with a programme of rotating art exhibitions throughout the year.
Our space provides a welcoming light for both emerging and established artists from Ramsgate, Thanet, and the surrounding area to showcase their work in an inspiring setting.
Each exhibition brings something new to discover, from contemporary paintings and photography to sculpture, mixed media, and printmaking. By regularly changing our displays, we offer visitors and guests the opportunity to experience fresh perspectives while supporting the vibrant creative culture that makes Ramsgate such a special destination.
Whether you’re enjoying a meal, relaxing with a drink, or staying with us, we invite you to explore the artwork on display and connect with the stories behind each piece.
As part of Ramsgate’s thriving arts scene, The House is proud to support local artists by providing an elegant exhibition space where art can be enjoyed every day of the year. Our exhibitions complement the town’s growing network of galleries and creative venues, making The House a welcoming stop for art lovers and visitors alike.
